Cooking Chinese Food at Home
We'd like to offer some recipes from our kitchen so that you can try them in yours! For best results, a hot gas burner is recommended. However, most recipes can be prepared using any type of stove. See below for how to locate the necessary Chinese ingredients locally if your regular supermarket does not carry them.
Here are two recipes that we think you will enjoy cooking (and eating!). Click the links below to open the recipes so you can view and print them. Each recipe serves 4 and includes a suggested wine pairing. (You can purchase these or similar wines at Lotus Garden's wine shop.)
Cantonese Fried Rice -- You will cook several of the ingredients separately (rice, shrimp, eggs, etc.) before combining them in this easy-to-follow and tasty recipe.
Beef with Fresh Asparagus and Baby Corn -- This Cantonese recipe is delicious with its wonderful flavors and rich sauce.
